NAIA rules are specific when it comes to class rank letters. In addition to coming in a sealed, school-stamped envelope to the address listed on the sample below, the letter needs to be signed by the student-athlete's high school principal, headmaster, vice-principal or guidance counselor. Class rank letters submitted through the NAIA High School Portal are considered official but still must follow the information displayed in the sample below.

Class rank is not available to GED or home school students as an option to meet eligibility requirements.
