Short List

A Short List is made up of the names of students who are on a coach's most serious "short list" of recruits and provides the priority for the Eligibility Center to begin the determination process.

First-time college students with no enrollment break after high school graduation do not need to be on a school's Short List to receive an eligibility decision. All high school students enrolling in the NAIA immediately after high school are automatically on the Eligibility's Center's priority list.

Transfer students and students with a break after high school must be on a Short List before the eligibility review process can begin by the Eligibility Center.

It is up to each NAIA coach or school whether or not to place a student on the school's Short List. Talk to your NAIA coach if you want to be added to a school's Short List.
