High School Role in the Eligibility Process
Here's what you can do to help your NAIA-bound students with the NAIA eligibility determination process:
- Register your high school to gain access to the NAIA High School Portal where you can upload official records fast, secure and free.
- Remind students who register for the ACT and SAT to include the NAIA code 9876 on the list of places test scores should be sent.
- When requested by individual students, send official transcripts, class rank information and fee waivers through the NAIA High School Portal as the #1 recommended service.
- Register your high school so you can electronically submit official transcripts and class rank letters. Additionally, keep your school contact information current, so you can ensure a smooth communication link for transcript submissions and monitoring the status of students from your school.
Early decision for high school seniors
Students who have completed their junior year of high school and have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale OR who are midway through senior year and have at least a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale and who meet the NAIA's minimum ACT or SAT test score requirements, may obtain an eligibility determination before graduating from high school. Those students will need to request that their official transcripts be sent to the NAIA Eligibility Center and contact ACT or SAT to have their test scores sent directly.
